DAB Nova Up 180 M-NA

First experiences with the DAB Nova 180 MNA + 10m hose 1. Extremely easy-to-reach and helpful telephone help desk! 2. Pump and accessories packed securely and delivered fast. 3. Pump tested immediately (delivery head > 2 metres); everything in line with the specification table. Surprising amount of water displacement for a centrifugal pump! 4. The supplied hose (10 metres) was stiff and hard to handle, so I bought another strong piece of hose that can be slid directly onto the pump outlet. 5. I also put a round bit of wide-meshed filter mat (2 cm thick, 13.5 cm in diameter) on the bottom of the pump (fits exactly) to stop small-fibre bits.

I only have a small sump pit that occasionally fills with rainwater. It takes longer to hang the pump in the pit than to drain it. Quick and easy. It can't get any better.

Here's my opinion about the submersible DAB Nova Up 180 MNA Puddle Pump Decent, solid pump that drained my cellar within 15 minutes. Something I started to do with buckets a month ago. After 38 buckets I still didn't see any difference. The pump quickly reduces the water level (which is high in our city). Yesterday created a permanent setup, with an underground hose through the wall into a pit. Switching it on once a week is sufficient.
